Brian's Telephone Tip

A potentially cheaper fixed line phone option for many people is the Telstra Communic8 prepaid home phone line. I have been using this for the last couple of years and find it good value for money.

Instead of the standard line rental the prepaid rental is currently $13.90 per month. Its worth checking out
and you never get a phone bill. Just recharge by picking up a card at the post office or telstra shop.

Disadvantages are: Need to enter account and pin for each call (I have them programmed into the phone)Long distance deals may be cheaper on other plans.Unable to have ADSL with this option. More info at:
